Even though the gym maybe open most major holidays the Kid’s Club will be closed on major holidays.
Reminder - During time of inclement weather the Kid’s Club will be closed in accordance with Columbia Public Schools in the morning. Check this website or call for evening update.
On Site Policy - Kid’s Club is for the use of parents and guardians and their children. You must remain in the PRO Fitness while your children are in our care. Please limit your child’s time in the child care to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Ages of Children Served - 12 weeks to 12 years old
Illness - If your child has had a fever or illness in the last 24 hours please do not bring them to the Kid’s Club.
Diapering and Potty Training - If your child is in the potty training stage, please assist them using the Kid’s Club restroom prior to leaving them in our care. We ask that check your child’s diaper and change them if needed prior to leaving them in the Kid’s Club. Due to the number of children in our care you may be called to change your child’s diapers if needed.
Snacks and Drinks - For the safety of small children and the cleanliness of the Kid’s Club we ask that snacks be limited to items such as dry cereal and dry crackers. Drinks must be in spill proof containers (no open cups, juice boxes or bags.) Staff is not able to feed the children attending Kid’s club. If your child is still taking a bottle, please time your workout around their feeding schedule. Our staff needs to be available for active involvement and possible conflict resolution for all of the children.
Behavior Policy - When a child misbehaves, staff will warn the child that the behavior is not acceptable and that the child should stop or he or she will be placed in a time out. Upon the next occurrence, the child will be placed in a time out. If the child continues the behavior, staff will discuss the issue with child’s parent at pick up, unless it becomes necessary to interrupt the parent’s workout.
